Cuteness for the day

Bone marrow transplant recipients are often in isolation for several months; their immune systems are so damaged by the treatment that they cannot risk infection.

The oncology unit of Seattle Children’s Hospital responded to the request of a teenage patient with the Cat Immersion Project.  Upon hearing  how much Maga Barzallo Sockemtickem misses her cat, several thousand people sent in photos of their felines, which the tech wizards at Children’s used in a projector/slideshow cat cocoon.
